Campbell, California
Stephen Stanwood
I build small, useful things for the internet: tools for watching sports, finding dinner, following local news, and making sense of what just changed.
My favorite projects have a narrow promise and a little personality. You should know what they do in five seconds, use them without an account, and leave with a real answer.
About
I am a builder based in Campbell, just south of San Jose. I studied public policy at the University of Chicago, then law and business at Georgetown and Santa Clara. Before I got this deep into building software, I worked around law, public policy, education, civil liberties, and local institutions.
That background still shows up in the work. I like making complicated information feel easier to act on, whether that is a city agenda, a game schedule, a restaurant menu, or a flood of new AI tools.
Outside the laptop, I am usually swimming early, doing yoga, or hanging out with my family.
